Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (PDT)
Seattle, United States
RSVP is not required. You can still attend if you have not registered.
Support the environment by being crafty and kinky! Babeland is hosting a special Kinky Craft Night to support Grist, the online environmental news agency providing a “beacon in the smog”. Make your own flogger out of recycled bike tire tubes with the help of our Kinky Craft Captain. All materials will be provided, and you'll leave the store with a DIY flogger of your very own. Babeland will be donating 10% of sales during the event to Grist, and all donations including the materials fee will be matched by an anonymous donor! This event will run in two sessions to accommodate everyone, so attend either the 6 or 7pm classes.

When & Where
Claire Cavanah and Rachel Venning opened the first Babeland store in 1993 in response to the lack of women-friendly sex shops in Seattle. The store offered top quality products, a pleasant place to shop, and most of all information and encouragement to women who wanted to explore their sexuality. The store's popularity with both women and men has led to three more stores in New York, plus a thriving and educational website.
We host workshops and events almost every week. Stop by for one of our Moms events, Art Walk nights, Babeland Brunch's or one of our many popular sex education classes.
